The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all online bookings any telephoned bookings and OTA.

When you make a booking, your contract (which shall include these terms and conditions)
will be with Stepping Stone Bed and Breakfast Maghanlawaun, Bridia Valley, Glencar, Kerry, Ireland (referred to in these conditions as Stepping Stone B&B)
All rates featured on the Stepping Stone Website are offered subject to availability and Stepping Stone B&B reserves the right to refuse any booking for good reason.
Telephone bookings are not accepted please use our online booking system
Pricing:
All prices shown online are in € euro per person per night (unless otherwise stated) based on 1 or 2 people sharing a twin or double room for one or more consecutive night stays, except for certain holiday periods where a minimum 2, 3 or 5 night stay may apply. all food and drink items are priced per person.These rates apply to all pre-booked online bookings.
All Prices are subject to change without notice. However, your price is guaranteed once you have filled our online booking/reservation form, and paid 20% non refundable deposit.All deposits must be recieved before commencement of reservation, Failure to pay a deposit within four days will result in your reservation being cancelled. credit/debit card required, payment may be made by bank transfer reservations booked with less than 7 days before commencement must be paid by Sumup or Paypal see below. You will then receive a confirmation email. in the event that the room you require has been previously booked all bookings are time recorded, you may be offered an alternate room.
For the avoidance of doubt, your price does not include any incidental charges, which you may incur during your stay (including, by way of example only, in respect of your use of telephone calls additional food and beverage items ). Such charges will be payable by you on your departure.
Special offers must be paid for in full at time of booking. Special offers are Non Refudable and may be withdrawn without notice your booking form must include "Special Offer"

unless otherwise stated, Website prices include twin/triple/family or double bedrooms private en suite with Shower, Meals see Meal arrangements below. The prices shown online are not valid in conjunction with any other offer and must be booked direct via www.steppingstonebandb.com , until you have received your confirmation number, are subject to change without prior notice. References to midweek rates are for Monday through to Thursday nights and weekend rates may apply for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Room only rates are room only and do not include any meal options, these may be selected from the extras menu at additional cost on our booking page

Availability of rooms at the rates shown online may be limited and/or
restricted to certain periods. Generally if the room is free on the
dates selected online then this is normally so, Unless we have received
a prior booking (bookings are time recorded) you will receive a
confirmation as soon as your deposit is accepted at Stepping Stone Bed
and Breakfast.
During major sporting events, social events, conferences and
exhibitions,minimum stay rules will apply, the same rates may not be
available.
Single Guests:
Individual guests are charged the standard room rate which includes
Breakfast(rate varies) and individual guests may book a double
or twin room for single occupancy.
Children:
Children cannot be accommodated. Adults only for the avoidance of doubt
over 18 years.
Pets
are not allowed. The Kerry Way has a no
dogs allowed policy,
Car Parking:
Car parking is free to our Guests.
Checking In and Out:
Arrival and Departure
Rooms are available from 14.00 hrs to 2100 on the day of arrival. late
arrivals will be charged €20 per hour or part thereof. Rooms
must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure,late departures will
be charged at €20 per hour or part thereof for the first hour then a
full daily rate after first hour Please ask for
details of the arrival and departure times when making your booking.
Meal Arrangements:
all Meals are served by your waiter at your table no Buffet/self
service All rates which include breakfast served from 0830 to 0930
offer Cereal, Yoghurt, Fruit,
Preserves Jam Marmalade and Honey, selection of Breads, Toast, Fruit
juice and a full traditional Irish breakfast with tea or coffee. Those
rates which include dinner served at 7pm 1 sitting onlyoffer a choice
from our Evening menu,
additional daily special dishes may be offered. special diets ( eg
gluten free dairy free) are catered for prior notice is required There
is
no refund for meals which are not taken by guests and lunch cannot be
taken in place of dinner. packed lunches are available at additional
cost € 8.50 supplied on departure only(fruit, drink, choice of sandwich, cereal bar or chocolate
bar & savoury snack) Our Dinning room is only available for guests
when taking meals from our in house Lunch menu or evening menu.picnics are not
allowed on our premises.
Wine
wine list available
You may bring your own wine a corkage or screwage charge of €10.00 per
bottle is required. The corkage/screwage charge is for the use of
glasses, washing , fridge, cork removal. service and bottle recycling.

9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Sunday.

PLEASE NOTE
Please note we do not allow cooking or use of any cooking equipment in
any of our rooms, The
Stepping Stone is Not a Hostel. (there are hostels in Black valley and
at Lyrannes Post office)
management reserves the right to remove anyone from our premises who
uses cooking appliances in any room
any campers requiring a room will be asked to leave their sleeping bags
and gas cannisters/cooking appliances in our dry secure room.
no picnics or Packed lunches allowed in the dining room on our Terrace or on
our premises.
Damages:
Any damage to our propety fixtures and fitting however
caused during your stay must be paid for before departure. any damage
found after you have checked out will be charged against your
credit/debit card If the room needs to be closed for damage there will
be additional costs for rehousing guests that cannot stay because of
damage howsoever caused. if the room has to be closed for repairs and
redecorating to be carried out there will be additional costs
Travel Insurance
We advise all travellers to protect themselves with a suitable holiday
insurance policy,that covers yourself, equipment and luggage. the
insurance should also cover you for costs that are non-returnable if
you have to cancel or curtail your trip due to unforseen circumstances.
Balance of Monies Outstanding:
Prior to your departure from the Stepping Stone B&B you will be
required to settle your bill.
On arrival you will be asked to produce your reference number. Stepping
Stone Bed and Breakfast accept all major credit cards, including
MasterCard, Visa and (American Express online only.) via Pay Pal. or by
telephone we now accept credit/debit cards in house
Alternatively, payment can be made by cash we do not accept any
travellers cheques or personal cheques
Taxi's and Luggage transfers
You
may at the time of booking, by selecting from our book online now page
select add extras of having your luggage transferred from Stepping
Stone Bed and Breakfast to your next stopover all persons or luggage is
carried either by our contractor or taxi charges are extra in the event
of the carriage of persons, payment may be made with your reservation
or to the driver. however it is advisable to pre-book and pre-pay this
service as there may be some delay in getting a taxi to our remote
location and there may be additional charges. we do not collect luggage
from any other location. if you require luggage transfer from your
preceding accommodation you must make arrangements with the
accommodation provider.
Suggested Routes off the beaten track are that. they
are not way marked routes, any of the suggested routes are taken at
your own judgement and risk. if you are setting off from the Stepping
Stone please leave word of your intended route and your expected time
of completion. if you are not returning to the Stepping Stone, Please
at the end of your hike telephone to say you have arrived safely at
your destination. route maps are only available for download one
week prior to your arrival please state departure point ie Glenbeigh,
Lord brandons cottage.
Cancellations and Amendments including Covid-19:
All cancellations must be made in accordance with our cancellation
terms.
Please reply using confirmation of reservation to make a cancellation
Most of the rates [except special offers and 20% non refundable deposit] featured on the Stepping
Stone Website may be
cancelled without further charge upto 5 days prior to the scheduled day of your
arrival. For later cancellation or no show 100% of the first nights
accommodation will be charged.for multiple night stays cancelled or no
show with less than 5 days notice your entire reservation must be paid
in full. However,if we have paid any commision to
suppliers that we cannot reclaim, these fees will be deducted from your
returned Payment. cancellation terms may vary according to the type of
room and rate, which you have booked. ie; Where a cancellation is not
made in accordance with our
applicable cancellation terms, we reserve the right to charge you 100%
for the first night's accommodation and meal package. rescheduled
bookings at our discretion are subject to the original booking date and
time of cancellation, any further changes may incur additional charges
A cancellation number must be obtained to ensure that such charges will
not be levied.
Special offers must be paid for in full at time of booking. Special
offers are Non Refudable and may be withdrawn without notice your
booking form must include "Special Offer"
Whilst every effort is made to fulfil any particular requests which you
may have in relation to your stay with us, we cannot unfortunately
guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requests which
you may make and our failure in this regard will not constitute a
breach of contract.
In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your
reservation, we reserve the right to do so. However, you have the right
to:
* accept the changed arrangements as notified; or
* make alternative arrangements with Stepping Stone Bed and Breakfast;
or
* cancel your reservation and receive a refund - 20% non refundable deposit, of any monies which
you have paid to Stepping Stone Bed and Breakfast in respect of your
reservation (please note that we shall not be liable for any sums which
you have paid to any other persons in connection with your reservation).
any cancellation or damage how so ever caused by our suppliers guides
and taxis is solely their responsibility
For the avoidance of doubt, we shall have no further liability to you
for any changes to or the cancellation of any online booking.
Complaints or Comments:
Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at The Stepping Stone should
be made in the first instance to the manager at the time of your stay
so that it can be resolved at the time.
Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified in
writing to Customer Services,

General Information:
Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the
information contained online, we cannot accept responsibility for any
errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement
or cancel any of the information or offers featured online at any time.
Stepping Stone bed and Breakfast shall not be responsible for any loss
or damage which you may suffer arising out of events beyond its control
or the control of its suppliers (including, without limitation, fire,
failure of water, electrical, gas or other power supplies, strikes,
industrial action, terrorist activity, technical problems with
transport, and bad weather), nor for any curtailment, cancellation or
change to any accommodation, activity or itinerary or any other
consequences which arise as a result of such events. please take out
suitable curtailment insurance.
For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall
operate to attempt to exclude or limit the Company's liability for the
death or personal injury of any person caused by the negligence of the
Company or its employees, servants or agents or to attempt to exclude
or limit the Company's liability in any manner which would be unlawful.
